Master Carpenter

Tennessee Repertory Theatre seeks a Master Carpenter for a 9 month contract. Abilities must include strong carpentry, MIG welding, rigging, and organizational skills. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Electrical knowledge and ability to drive a 24' truck is a plus. Tennessee Rep will produce six shows in the 2008–2009 season. Pay is weekly and based on experience. Benefits are not available.

Professional Stage Management/Production Intern

Tennessee Repertory Theatre has one opening for a Professional Stage Management/Production Intern for 2008-09 season. This position is full time, September to May, $125 per week, no housing provided. Ideal candidate will be seeking to further her/his education through hands-on experience gained from working for a professional Equity theatre. The intern will be supervised by the Company Stage Manager, assisting in the production of 6 shows plus other duties as needed. Stage Management/Production Intern will have the opportunity to learn from both Equity stage manager and professional directors. Depending on skills, may be assigned scene shop or other general production work in addition.

Professional Audience Development Intern

Tennessee Repertory Theatre has one opening for a Professional Audience Development Intern for the 2008-09 season. The position is full time, September to May, $125 per week, no housing provided. Ideal candidate will be seeking to further her/his education through hands-on experience gained from working for a professional Equity theatre. The intern will be supervised by the Audience Development Director and assist in marketing, sales, fundraising, publicity, and special events. The Audience Development Intern will have the opportunity to learn non-profit marketing and fundraising in a highly competitive arts community.
